Business Development Manager

As a Business Development Manager at 9altitudes, you'll expand our presence in Belgium's manufacturing and technical services market. As a Business Development Manager at 9altitudes, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our footprint within the manufacturing and technical services market in Belgium. Your primary responsibility will be to drive sales of our end-to-end solutions, leveraging Microsoft and Tulip platforms to meet the specific needs of customers and prospects in the manufacturing market. You will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with existing and potential customers, and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Identify and target prospective customers active in manufacturing or technical services .
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to promote our ERP, Customer Engagement solutions, DMS, MES, Data Analytics, and AI offerings.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and client needs. Challenge your customer with it.
  • Collaborate with our industry experts to translate the customer needs into valuable solutions

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in target companies.
  • Present and demonstrate together with your pre-sales teams our software solutions to potential clients.
  • Understand clients' business processes and challenges to provide tailored solutions.

Sales Process Management:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing in close collaboration with our marketing team, bid- & pre-sales teams
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions post-sale. This also means taking an active role as steerco member for your key customers.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Achieve sales targets in alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor sales metrics and provide regular reports on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Utilize our CRM tools to manage and track sales activities.

Collaboration and Networking:

  • Work closely with marketing, technical, and support teams to enhance the customer experience.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to build brand awareness and generate leads.

Skills

  • Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field experience. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the manufacturing sector or in the field of Microsoft Business Solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of business processes in relation to ERP, Customer Engagement solutions, DMS, MES, Data Analytics, and AI technologies. Familiarity with Microsoft Business solutions is a plus.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and  Dutch. French is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and client needs to identify business opportunities.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
